Representation and Sales

Over the last 14+ years I have closed over 140 real estate transactions in the Seattle market, representing buyers, sellers, in residential and multi-family investment properties; effectively negotiating over $75,000,000 in sales. I've worked closely with investors and developers on several successful projects.  The capability I have for professionally representing my client’s best interest in a real estate transaction, be they individuals, partnerships, or a family trust, is owed to these valued attributes: honesty, integrity, communication, follow through, demonstration of market knowledge, proficient financial analysis of investment property, responsiveness, thoroughness, diversity of experience, a good reputation in the brokerage community, creative marketing practices, and application of win-win negotiating strategies in a competitive and complex marketplace.

Investing:

I have compassion for my clients, as I also buy what I sell. I have invested with partners and individually in 12 properties, totaling $8,000,000 in investments, primarily short-term holdings bought for resale purposes. Although now, I have pointed my self towards investing in longer term holds and developing real estate.  I have managed nearly $1,500,000 in remodeling budgets, acted as general contractor, am hands-on with design, familiar with applying for permits and working with the City of Seattle, and have built a strong network of professional service providers. These experiences have made me a resource for my clients of credible referrals.  

Property Management: I am a member of the Rental Housing Association of Puget Sound and I currently manage 36 units grossing over $500,000 annual income. I have managed my own property, assisted my parents with their rentals for many years, and am familiar with the duties and obligations of a landlord, and the Landlord Tenant laws. My job is to keep the units rented with good tenants, collect rents, thoroughly process applications and background checks, monitor area rents, raise rents when possible, keep the property and grounds maintained.

· Certificate in Commercial Real Estate from University of Washington 2008

Background, Family and Hobbies:

I feel blessed to have been born and raised in Seattle. I grew up going to open houses with my realtor dad and previewing for sale houses against my will a couple days a week. I have certainly benefited from my parent’s 25 years of real estate experience. I grew up in the Green Lake area and currently live in Broadview. I work the Fremont, Green Lake, Broadview, Phinney Ridge, Wallingford, Queen Anne, Ballard, Viewridge, neighborhoods primarily. I play basketball weekly, snowboard often, invest in my brother’s classic car business, and have spent a total of 17 months of my life travelling in foreign countries, but I’ve never been to Florida.
